Peafowl is a typical name for three feathered creature species in the genera Pavo and Afropavo of the family Phasianidae, the birds and their partners. Male peafowl are alluded to as peacocks, and female peafowl as peahens, however peafowl of either sex are frequently alluded to conversationally as “peacocks”.[1]
