Belam is delicious and chemical-free artisanal jaggery cooked in small batches in hygienic environment. Our bellam comes from the heart of Sugarland, Baghpat region of India. We have been making gur from centuries and the experience and family tradition has inspired us to share this delicious unrefined sugar with the world. Eat with confidence as no chemicals have been used in making this delicious treat.
Jaggery is a conventional non-radial stick sugar[1] expended in Asia.[2] It is a concentrated result of stick juice and regularly date or palm sap without division of the molasses and precious stones, and can shift from brilliant earthy colored to dim earthy colored in shading, and is like the Latin American panela.[2] It contains up to half sucrose, up to 20% upset sugars, and up to 20% dampness, with the rest of up of other insoluble issue, for example, wood debris, proteins, and bagasse strands.
