As indicated by Bhagavata Purana, Krishna moved on the hood of Kaliya, the snake, enslaving him and purged the stream Yamuna of its polluting influences. This scene depicting the decimation of the venomous snake Kaliya, who was a threat to the individuals of Braj, is prominently delivered as Krishna Tandava or Krishna’s Tandava dance.[5]

Creator Angana Jhaveri depicts Krishna Tandava in the Raslila has spritely and cheerful move developments. It includes little brisk developments, light springly bounces, quick footwork, turning at an unsteady speed and some aerobatic developments. Yet, the general impact of the structure is that of effortlessness and delicacy reasonable to the sentimental and energetic character of Krishna.

Love of Krishna as the “Lord of move” is common even before sixteenth centrury. Writer and Teacher Caleb Simmons in his book Reverential Power: Authority and Religion in India says that, Ruler Chikka Devaraja (the fourteenth maharaja of the Realm of Mysore) mindted a progression of Gold coins called “Devaraja [with] the picture of moving Krishna” (tandava krishnamurti devaraja) to celebrate his crowning liturgy
