This Purnahuthi packet contains total 34 items which is used in homas. Purnahuti means, “Complete offering away of oneself”. It includes the offering of nine types of grains,vari phelalu, dry coconut, kasturi, vatti verllu, tungamusthalu, madiphalam, dry dates, white mustard, and 21/2 meters red pattu cloth etc into the fire while chanting specified mantras.
